Hsm3

The prospect of a High School Musical 3 appears to be getting closer and closer to reality.

"I am so very excited," Vanessa Hudgens told PEOPLE backstage at Sunday's American Music Awards in L.A., when asked about returning for the threequel. "To do a third one for the big screen, I can't begin to think how much fun we'll have."

Hudgens, 18, said that although "only a few people have actually signed the contracts ... We're all definitely on board."

Contracts for the film's young stars are still being negotiated, a key being Hudgens's boyfriend Zac Efron, 20. After a success with the film Hairspray, Efron saw his value skyrocket in 2007. He told PEOPLE in September that he'd return "if the script is good," and was photographed recently with a script-toting director.

Hudgens has reportedly signed on for part three, but neither her rep nor Disney has confirmed. "We always have so much fun," she said of the inevitable reunion.

HSM director Kenny Ortega – who, in October, told PEOPLE work was under way on a first-draft script for the sequel – admitted Sunday how hopeful the cast and crew is.

"We're all verbally committed, and we're all very hopeful of doing this," Ortega said to PEOPLE at the 15th Annual Diversity Awards in L.A. "We want to do this, and we're going to have some new characters arriving at East High. That'll be fun, mix it up a little bit."

Asked in the American Music Awards pressroom about how much she’ll be making for the sequel, costar (and Hudgens's friend) Ashley Tisdale said, "We don't talk about our income, but Disney is great!"

Info on Hsm3,HM Movie,TCG3, and Dadnapped!

Bob Iger, Disney's chief executive, on Thursday warned that its ABC television business could be hit by a prolonged Hollywood writers' strike but said its film studio would be unlikely to feel any effect until 2009. This means that High School Musical 3, The Hannah Montana Movie, Cheetah Girls 3, and Dadnapped production will procceed as scheduled. Therefore, talent may continue to submit 8X10 photos and resumes' for these films.
Hollywood screenwriters have spent this past week picketing studios and TV networks after failing to agree a new pay deal. The writers want a share of money generated by the streaming of their work on the internet. But the studios and networks have refused to budge, saying free internet streaming is for promotional purposes only and should not be covered in the pay deal.

IT WONT APPEAR ON DISNEY CHANNEL IT WILL BE IN THEATERS!

Joe Jonas trips over part of the stage while performing with his brothers Nick and Kevin at the 2007 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
Ouch! It looks like he cut his hand on some of the shards and started to bleed.
Not to worry though, Also from a source(not sure if reliable)but said that after their performance Joe was asked if he was ok and Joe "supposedly" said Just a little blood, rock and roll. But once again thats a rumor that he said that.

What does Ashlee Simpson have to say about Joe falling at the 07 AMA"S??

Joe didn't only fall tonight. Joe unfortunately fell when accepting their award at the Born to Lead awards! But, Joe had a very quick wit and we all are very impressed, including Ashlee Simpson!
In the midst of receiving his award on stage, Joe Jonas fell! Yikes! But before the audience had a chance to gasp, Joe stepped up to the mic and said "And now, for my next trick..." Talk about a quick and clever recovery! In fact, even Ashlee Simpson was so impressed with his quick wit, that when she talked about getting over some of the challenges in her career, she gave kudos to Joe for being so fast on his feet (literally!).

About Camp Rock!

“OK, so real-life Kevin dresses like his Camp Rock character, but none of the boys are playing themselves. In fact, in the movie, they aren’t even related- they are members of a band called Connect Three. Middle brother Joe, 18, plays lead singer Shane Gray, who messed up by storming off the set of a music-video shoot so he’s being sent to rock ‘n’ roll camp to get his bearings.

“Shane is not happy he’s going there,” explains Kevin. “We canceled our summer tour, and he’s got to find himself again. We know this will be good for him no matter how much he hates it.” As for Kevin? He plays bandmate Jason. “My character is out there, a little spacey, but I love it. I get to be a little loopy, and it’s kinda fun. Nick plays the leader in the group, which is really true. He always keeps me in line- me and Joe are always goofing around. I’m always just having a good time; Joe is goofing off. Joe’s nickname is “Danger.” Nick is like “OK guys.” We’re just like “Whatever.” What about the music in Camp Rock? Are the tunes Jonas Brothers originals? “No,” says Kevin. “We became part of it after the music was written, but it’s fantastic.” Still, don’t expect any Camp Rock jams if you see the boys perform live. That’s where they draw the line. “Just our songs, just from our record,” Kevin insists. So any on-set crushes or flirting? “I think, yeah, for sure. But not so much with me and Kevin. A whole lot with Joe. He says ‘Hey, I’m a flirty guy!’ I’m like ‘Dude, you crack me up.’ He’s like. ‘What? I’m a lover.’ Unbelieveable.” So some innocent flirting, but no full-on romances. How about an on-set embarrasing moment? “I think sometimes when you forget your lines, it’s kind of a funny moment.” Nick says. “That’s what just happened in this last limo scene. I was suppsosed to be saying something like ‘By the way, we told the press you’d be singing a duet with the winner at Final Jam.’ and it came out like ‘By the way, winter’s coming faster than summer so make sure you wear some pajamas.’ or something like that. It was crazy.”

“My character in the movie, his name is Nate, and he’s alot like me in the sense that he knows what he wants an knows he has to keep his head on straight. He’s got a clear picture of what has to happen with the band, and he doesn’t lose focus. He’s kind of the exact opposite of Kevin’s character Jason. The dynamic there is really cool.”

Suite Life on Strike!

As a lot of you already know many writers have gone on Strike because they feel that they are getting paid unfairly, this strike will effect the boys new Disney show as well as other popular Disney shows. So far they've only filmed One episode, others have been written, and they are still casting for characters in future episodes. They were supposed to start production back again in December-January. It might be a little later, but it's still in the works. So don't get worried!

They did change the title name again, from Semester At sea the current working title is "Suite Life on Deck" it's possible the name may change again.
