Jonas Bro Interview!

here is the transcript since it is a little hard to hear!

Katie: Okay, Katie
Karleigh: And Karleigh
Katie: And we are in Virginia to see the Jonas Brothers, Joey Page and-
Karleigh: Jump 5
Katie: Yeah, and so we had made a Jonas Brothers snap video a long time ago and we were not good at it.
Karleigh: When we were not talented, but we have gotten a lot better so we wanted to show you, ready?
(Katie and Karleigh start Jonas snapping)
Karleigh: BAM!
Kevin: Uhhh, I don’t think that’s the way you do it though (snaps) you gotta be more on top of it.
Joe: That’s not very good
Kevin: Yeah you have to (snaps)
(Katie snaps)
Kevin: That’s okay
Nick: Yeah, it just comes naturally for us.
Karleigh: They’re talented…we’re not
Kevin: It’s in our bones
Joe: So how you guys doing?
Katie: Pretty good
Karleigh: Pretty good
Joe: Good
Karleigh: This is so unexpected
Kevin: I know
Katie: Yeah
Nick: Totally
Karleigh: I’m baffled
Katie: So how was the show yesterday?
Kevin: The show was great!
Joe: It was fun! Where were we?
Nick: Fresno, California
Joe: Fresno, California…it was fun.
Karleigh: Were a lot of people there?
Nick: Yeah, it was a good crowd.
Joe: A lot of people
Nick: And we’re all over the place right now, we’re trying to get some sleep in between.
Kevin: Yeah, we’re getting ready for the tour.
Karleigh: Hannah Montana
Kevin: We had our first rehearsal last night
Joe: We got to see the stage
Nick: The stage looks awesome.
Katie: Oh, is that what you were talking about during sound check?
Kevin: Yeah
Katie: Yeah I heard you say-
Katie and Karleigh (in unison): The stage was awesome-
Katie: Or something.
Kevin: Yeah, cause you know, it’s not like, you know, a stage like this where you just come up and here’s the stage, it’s like their building a stage everywhere we go.
Joe: Yeah and there’s hundreds of people.
Kevin: Yeah, there’s 120 people on tour.
Nick: Crew and stuff.
Joe: The crew, us---
Kevin: It’s a thirteen bus tour.
Nick: It’s crazy.
Karleigh: Fans are gonna have trouble trying to find which bus is yours.
Katie: Yeah, I know!
Kevin: That’s just the buses, not like the trucks as well.
Karleigh: Oh my gosh!
Kevin: It’s awesome!
Karleigh: That’s nuts, but cool. Okay, we’ve been getting asked a lot, what’s going on with the meet and greets?
Nick: We actually don’t know yet.
Kevin: I have no clue.
Nick: You know, as much as we would love to meet every single one of the fans, we still don’t know what we’re doing for the tour yet.
Kevin: Yeah
Nick: So we’re trying to get all the details worked out because tickets are going crazy.
Kevin: This week is like our big week to like get enough… like get in, get a tour, and make sure everything’s …. you know, be on stage…[UNINTELLIGIBLE]
Katie: Fantastic! What can we like…What’s different from the summer tour to the Hannah Montana tour?
Joe: Well there’s going to be a lot more people in the audience.
Kevin: True that.
Nick: And I think the whole concept’s like a really big production to the show, it’s like, we intertwine with her set as well and it’s just…and we’re playing some of the songs that we haven’t playing during the summer tour which is cool.
Kevin: Yeah, for sure, and Kenny Ortega is creative directing our tour so, he did High School Musical, and Michael Jackson’s tour and Kiss’s tour so-
Katie: Really?
Kevin: Yeah, so it’s kind of awesome.
Karleigh: That’ll be cool. Okay, so your guys’ new Bonus Jonas CD is coming out, can you tell us about that?
Nick: Ah yeah, well the Bonus Jonas CD has a couple of new songs on it which none of you guys have heard yet. One’s called “Take a Breath” and ones called “Girl of My Dreams”…no
Kevin: No
Joe: “Love Struck”
Karleigh: “We Got the Party”?
Nick: No, ummm, “Myspace Girl”, I think, yeah. I can’t believe we don’t know.
Joe: We’ll find out.
Kevin: I feel like we don’t know about anything we do.
Karleigh: We already pre-ordered it, did you? Did you pre-order it? You should. Do it!
Kevin: Yeah, that’s awesome!
Big Rob: I gotta pull them real quick, we’ll finish this later on.
Katie: Okay
Karleigh: Okay, thank you!
Kevin: Thank you!
----------------------------
Karleigh: Part two! Okay, what were we talking about, the new songs? Describe them.
Nick: Yes
Joe: Well the new songs that are on the Bonus Jonas CD are some of our favorite songs that we wish would’ve gotten on this new record, but we had to make some cuts.
Kevin: So it’s extended.
Nick: So the songs are called “Take a Breath”, “Out of This World” and…something else.
Kevin: And something else, [UNINTELLIGIBLE], we don’t know.
Karleigh: And something else!
Kevin: [UNINTELLIGIBLE]
Katie: Are they like fast or slow, can you tell us or no?
Kevin: They’re like-
Nick: Mid-tempo
Kevin: Fast, mid-
Nick: Yeah, I think…[UNINTELLIGIBLE]
Kevin: Yeah, I think you guys will like them.
Karleigh: Like dancing…like “SOS”?
Kevin: Yeah, uhh
Kevin and Nick (in unison): nahhhhhhhh…
Nick: It’s a little more like, you know, like a rock thing, mid-tempo type songs.
Kevin: Rock and roll.
Katie: Okay, so how was it like filming “Camp Rock”
Karleigh: “Camp Rock”
Joe: It was great, we had the best time, the cast was really cool, and we were up there for like a month and a half.
Kevin: In Canada.
Joe: Yeah, we were in upstate Canada for a while, it was crazy up there, but then we were in Toronto.
Katie: Then you were leaving there and doing the radio stuff, right?
Joe: We’d fly back and forth
Kevin: We’d fly back and do the radio stuff over the weekend.
Karleigh: It seems like you guys got done really fast.
Kevin: Yeah we did and they really helped us out.
Karleigh: So what about “J.O.N.A.S”?
Nick: Yeah, actually while we were doing the radio shows we were on our way back to Canada we found out that the show got picked up and it was really exciting. We’re still waiting to hear all the details now, we’ll see what happens.
Kevin: We’ll know more in the next week.
Nick: It will be on air, and it’ll start shooting, I think, in January.
Kevin: We’ll start production in January.
Katie: Do you know when it’ll be on TV or no?
Nick and Kevin (in unison): When?
Katie: Yeah
Joe: It probably should be airing next spring.
Kevin: Spring.
Nick: Summer ‘08
Kevin: Spring or summer
Karleigh: See, Nick knows.
Joe: Right around “Camp Rock” coming out.
Kevin: It’ll probably be around the same time “Camp Rock” comes out.
Nick: So, double time!
Kevin: Double time!
Katie: Exciting!
Kevin: Good, thank you guys!
Karleigh: Okay, anything you want to say to your viewers, fans?
Kevin: Thank you guys so much for everything! You are amazing. Without you, we’d be nowhere.
Nick: Thank you for all the voting…
Kevin: Yes.
Nick:…and all that, you guys are awesome.
Kevin: Yes, and learn how to snap.
Karleigh: Learn it, and buy the, pre-order the CD.
Kevin: Yes, thank you guys so much and we will see you soon.

Hsm Ice Tour Premire!

When High School Musical: The Ice Tour kicked off at famed Madison Square Garden over the weekend, several stars of High School Musical the TV movie were on hand to personally grace and take in the occasion. HSM's Olesya Rulin, Ryne Sanborn and Kaycee Stroh attended the world premiere of their show's counterpart on skates, along with Madison Pettis, who stars in another Disney franchise, Cory in the House.

All three High School Musical stalwarts spoke to OK! Magazine about their take on the whole High School Musical experience.

“How are the basketball scenes going to happen on ice?” Olesya Rulin quipped in confusion.

The 21-year old Russian pixie, who is a trained ballet dancer and model, admitted that she is still getting accustomed to the recognition she now gets from High School Musical fans who know her from the show as Kelsi Nielsen.

“It can be a little like ‘waah!'” Rulin confessed to OK! “It's intense when you're at the airport in the bathroom, and you're like ‘whoa, I'm trying to get my stuff together.' It's a wonderful blessing though.”

She considers her stint with the Disney Channel “a refresher course for the world because it's not drama-filled.”

For 23-year old Kaycee Stroh, who played Martha Cox on the two TV High School Musicals, it's been nothing short of a fairy tale since she landed a role on the phenomenal show.

“I feel so blessed to be part of the phenomenon,” Stroh revealed. “It's a dream come true.”

Meanwhile, 18-year old Ryne Sanborn wishes he could take to the ice as part of the HSM Ice Tour, citing his background as a hockey player.

“I've been playing hockey since I was seven,” Sanborn said. “I asked them if I could come out and skate with The Ice Tour, but I'm just going to watch today, which is relaxing.”

As for the adulation he now gets from droves of High School Musical aficionados, Ryne seems to bask in their generous attention and affection.

“They're so cute; I love all of them,” Ryne stated. “They are so loving, caring and involved in our lives. They've watched the movie a hundred times!”

Funny article from the National Ledger about Zac!

Zac Efron finally splurged and got out of his grandfather's Oldsmobile and into a sporty new Audi. So is he speeding around Los Angeles in the hot new ride? An insider says yes. "Zac's new car is a real speed demon, and he likes to open it up on the highway whenever possible," a source told the National Enquirer. The report claims that Zac was recently stopped by LA's finest - but it wasn't for what you would think.

"He was popped by the cops (and) it was actually for going too slow," the insider claims. Zac and his gal Vanessa Hudgens were recently out for a spin, and he was pulled over by the cops veteran gossip Mike Walker notes in this week's edition of the weekly entertainment magazine. Walker writes, "Not every Hollywood star is living life in the fast lane! Zac Efron, for example, is taking things real slow."

Continuing: The "High School Musical" star recently bought a sleek, black, 2007 Audi A6 – and was stopped by the police just a couple days after hitting the road with his hot new car. But unlike many other stars (think Paris, Lindsay, Nicole, Mel and Kiefer) Zac wasn't drunk, drugged, or speeding. The 19-year-old was stopped for going to slow!"

Zac was driving slowly because he was trying to figure out the navigation system in his new car, said the source. When the traffic officer recognized Zac, he gave him a warning instead of a ticket – and asked him to sign an autograph for his niece. Ah - the perks of being Zac. [National Ledger]
