JB Co-Star!

According to 411 Mania, they did an interview with the Jonas Brothers’ up and coming co-star Chelsea Staub. They have asked her what are her future plans and in reply she said:
“Well, I just finished shooting Minutemen, which is a Disney Channel Original Movie that will be on in January of 2008, and I also did a new pilot called Jonas with The Disney Channel and that’s with The Jonas Brothers. And that will be coming out, if the writers’ strike ends, in June of next year. So, that will be a weekly series, which I’m really excited about. So, I’ll be doing that for a couple of years, actually, about three years I’ll be working on that. I’m still auditioning and still working hard for roles.”

Info on Vanessa sophmore cd!

It’s (Almost) Confirmed that Vanessa has recorded 12 songs, so far, for her sophomore album and most likely recording 20 songs for her picking and choosing. We have a contact through a contact here on VABN and Erin from FanForum tells us that on the Pulse Music Boards, “This same person also gave a whole bunch of info on the Hilary Duff thread about her upcoming re-release. I’m guessing that Vanessa is going to record 20 songs at the most, most likely less though around 16 or 18.”

As there were 16 songs on her first album, including bonus tracks, if Hollywood Records decides to do a re-release, then she’s going to need some extra songs.

The contact on Pulse also just confirmed that the scrapped Hilary Duff song, will definitely be Vanessa’s. The song is called “I Will.”

ETA: out of the 12 songs she has recorded, she has apparently co-written 3 of them

Ashley's Apology!

Ashley Tisdale just made a public apology to her fans and friends in Miami and Philadelphia, where she backed out of her Jingle Ball performances.

Here’s the public apology from the 22-year-old High School Musical star:

“I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to be at the holiday shows this weekend. I haven’t fully recovered from my surgery and had to make the difficult decision to cancel the appearances.

When my surgery was scheduled, we didn’t think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time. Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer.

The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my fans. I flew out to the east coast with the dancers and crew still hoping I would be well enough to perform.

I hope you all have a very happy holiday season.

I love you guys!
Ashley“

Vanessa went out with...

Vanessa Hudgens grabs a quick breakfast at Paty’s Restaurant in North Hollywood’s Toluca Lake on Monday morning with mom, Gina.

The High School Musical star wore a black and brown striped sweater over a white deep V-neck and skinny jeans. Vanessa stylized herself with brown wedges, a Chanel purse and a rosary as a necklace.

Just this past Friday, Ms. Hudgens turned 19-years-old and was seen driving around in her birthday car–a brand spankin’ new Audi convertible.

Parts of an article of what z100 had to say about JB at Jingle Ball!

Half of those performers got their momentum outside radio. The Jonas Brothers — who drew by far the loudest screeches — found their nationwide audience on the Disney Channel. The Jonas Brothers are pinup cute, smiley, nasal-voiced siblings from New Jersey; Kevin, the oldest, turned 20 last month. He, Joe and Nick Jonas have been widely, and rightly, compared to the 1990s phenomenon Hanson, another brother act that gave its pop songs a fillip of electronics and hints of country-rock twang. Also like Hanson, the Jonas Brothers have a few clever songs amid the sappy ones. “S.O.S.” is up-to-date enough to complain, “This is where the story ends, a conversation on I.M./Well, I’m done with texting.” As a band of older musicians backed up the songs, the brothers grinned and bounded around the stage, harvesting camera flashes and shrieks.
