Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, the adorable stars of the upcoming "High School Musical 3", both made the cut today in the Top 10 Women and Top 10 Men end of the year lists by Lycos.
Zac was the #7 searched male star of the year due to his starring roles in both HSM 2 and the hit musical "Hairspray". His relationship with Hudgens certainly didn’t hurt his celebrity status as well.
Vanessa Hudgens was the #5 searched female celebrity of the year as determined by Lycos. Last week, we reported that she was named #4 in a similar listing done by Yahoo.
Searches for Vanessa surged in early September when nude photos of the actress were discovered online. She issued a statement of apology, and although it was rumored that she might be fired from the "HSM" franchise, she will costar in "High School Musical 3".
